Teaching Areas
The Natural Sciences at DNTU delivers foundational courses that play a key role in developing students’ scientific thinking, analytical skills, and ability to apply knowledge across disciplines.
Physics, in particular, is taught not only as theoretical knowledge but as a tool to understand natural phenomena and support applications in engineering, technology, and real-life contexts.
Teaching areas may include:

General Physics (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electricity, Optics)

Applied Physics in engineering and technology

Physics laboratory and experiments

Measurement, analysis, and simulation of physical phenomena
The teaching approach emphasizes logical thinking, visualization, experimentation, and real-world application.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Physics courses with a focus on conceptual understanding and application

Design engaging lectures using simulations, experiments, and real-life examples

Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions ensuring safety and accuracy

Develop and update teaching materials aligned with different academic disciplines
-
Innovate teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes

Supervise student research projects (basic or applied)

Collaborate with other faculties to integrate Physics into applied training contexts

Participate in academic activities, seminars, and research

Support students in building strong scientific foundations
Job Requierements

Master’s degree or higher in Physics or related fields
-
Strong foundational knowledge in general Physics
-
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way
-
Teaching or research experience is an advantage

Familiarity with teaching tools (simulation software, lab equipment)

Innovative mindset in teaching and learning design

Strong sense of responsibility and academic commitment

Ability to work across disciplines is preferred
