With the aim of enhancing the quality of administrative work, advisory support, and task implementation, the Department of Organization and Human Resources organized a training session on “Meeting Minutes Writing Skills and Monitoring Meeting Conclusions and Directives.”
05 KEY SKILLS – A FOUNDATION FOR EFFECTIVE ADVISORY AND COORDINATION WORK
The training program focused on 05 essential skills, covering the entire process of information handling before, during, and after meetings, including:
1. Skills in Identifying Meeting Documents
Clarifying the purpose, content, and requirements of meeting minutes; ensuring that information is recorded accurately, objectively, and comprehensively, with clear identification of tasks, responsible units, and completion deadlines.
2. Listening and Information Recording Skills
Developing active listening and selective note-taking skills, focusing on important discussions, directives, and tasks that need to be implemented.

3. Information Selection and Processing Skills
Identifying key points, classifying and organizing information by topic, and presenting it logically according to the structure of issues – discussion – conclusion – tasks – deadlines, while minimizing repetitive or irrelevant content.
4. Document Drafting Skills
Ensuring proper format, clear structure, and concise, accurate, and professional administrative language; carefully checking spelling, figures, unit names, and dates before issuance.
5. Skills in Monitoring and Implementing Conclusions
Translating meeting conclusions into specific tasks, clearly identifying responsible persons, deadlines, and expected outcomes; proactively monitoring progress, following up on tasks, and promptly reporting any difficulties or issues that arise.
